I have exactly the same set up as you (except using a Huawei HG556a HW.C router, from vodafone). Click OK and select Apply. How do I hook up my Express via ethernet to my Extreme and avoid the Unexpected Error, Try Again message? Device (Airport Express, AirPort Time Capsule, Airport Extreme) should now reappear in AirPort Utility.

I've been trying to set it up in Airport Utility on its own, but no. The AirPort Express in its normal function, acts as a signal repeater, thus extending the WiFi range of your home's wireless network signal. But when they go to setup it provides  "An unexpected error occurred try again” error message. Airport Extreme Not Found So enable IPv6 for network interface.

If you’re one of them then try to Shut down the firewall on your Mac/ Windows and set up once again your Airport Extreme or Airport Express then Turn on Firewall, Another issue with some of the old Airport stuff is that it might not support the newer security protocols.
