First I did not know on what to set num_banks in that case but tried something and the XServer started successfully with that change. That seems odd. Does it work with an older mesa? Software Rasterizer is enabled instead of the 3D Hardware Acceleration.

I'm pretty sure the old drivers didn't work with the new xorg-serverthat's why I delayed the xorg update for so long... At this point, it's really getting confusing.
