However, I re-captured the video/audio I needed to the project drive, re-edited it onto the timeline and assumed everything would be normal. Not a scratch disk or permissions thing at all so i was going crazy & your fix helped. I changed something which i can't remember. Premiere 6.0 I don't get black screens or blue screens.
