Re: Reader X problem - Accept End User License Agreement HBomb1974 Dec 19, 2011 8:06 AM (in response to gryphon2345) So here's the thing:With v10.1x, PDFs have an issue working off I work for an Escrow company and attachments frequently are named "ESCROW xxxxxx". in the meantime, I told my users to just open up Adobe Reader x on its own, minimize it, and then they can open the PDF files from their share drive I was then able to open the file, without any problem (Hooray!).

Although I now can open PDF files again from Outlook, there still is something wrong. They had the problem specifically when opening PDF attachments in Outlook. I have tried all of the fixes suggested, but none have been able to solve my problem. Simply adding a key to your registry got rid of the error. I removed the registry entry bProtectedMode from HKLM\Software\Policies\adobe\10.0\featureLockdown and was able to open all files w/out the message.
