Either it was a temporary thing or it was something to do with the adobe dlm, flash, or shockwave. I mentioned I was having problems seeing or downloading my bank statements in .pdf form. Any document that is on the computer or a shared drive opens fine. You need the latest updates to get full compatibility. Uncheck open PDF within web browserthis will usually fix the issue instead of choosing to open the pdf within the web browser itself, the pdf file will just open up acrobat

Once I close down IE8 I receive a message box: "Message from the Webpage Server Error: Class: WDJ_Acroform Method: Error Message: Could not send message!: The form I am trying to Adobe Acrobat Reader Error Of course it could just have been a coincidence. I also disabled all adobe addons for IE8 thinking that would certainly fix it but it did not as well.So thats where I am. Another report suggested installing adobe reader in vista compatibility mode (different than just running it in this mode). Like I said before, I have seen this on other Windows 7 computers, but never found the reason why. Adobe Acrobat Error 507 Sometimes it doesn't work and kicks you out of IE. I guess I now know what the blank one was trying to tell me.
Anything past 9.2 will not work for us as we have other web based programs that are dependant on a specific version of AR- that being 9.2. I trust this fixes everybody's issues. I had the same problem in firefox and solved this way, maybe an adobe compatibility issue with windows 7, but nothing relative to CS4 install.
